Week 11 2012

Cheryl continues to do what I tell her to do (brave soul)! She’s lost 2 more pounds and is now wearing XS scrubs at work. So that tells me her body composition is definitely changing and continuing to change in the right direction—healthier! I’m so proud of her for everything she’s experienced so far not just physically – but emotionally! She’s truly realizing that getting healthier isn’t just about the body – it’s about the mind and spirit too. Almost everything has to change, for everything to change—permanently! I’m going to mix up her weight routines again now that she is getting more acclimated to the weight room and ‘stronger.’ Since we are together a couple more weeks due to her injury, I’m going to really push her by having her select yet, another athletic event she’d like to participate in and begin working with her to help train her for whichever type of event she chooses….She turns the big 40 this June and wanted to get involved in this process because of that, but now – with a 10K behind her, I believe she’s ready to take that birthday to a whole new meaning of “celebration!”  Stay focused and get fit!

————————————————————————————————————-

Well, this week has been smooth sailing! Everyone and their uncle have been saying I look like I lost weight and asking me, “What are you doing?” What I’ve been doing is my wonderful trainer’s program of cardio and weight training….coupled with a clean diet….it’s a recipe for success!  My waistline is starting to really get leaner and I had to pinch myself but I think I even saw the faintest hint of muscles in my thighs!!!! LOL….The biggest change is my attitude. I feel happy and energized all the time!!! I am able to handle stress better and I may be getting just a little confident!!! I’m glad I have been able to see the light…can’t wait to see what the next 4 weeks have in store….bring it on!!!!
