Kelly’s continued progress is going at a ‘normal’, expected rate that makes me smile and nod with a feeling of “YES….we have a winner folks!!” And I have to chuckle when she writes…”being on Angela’s food plan”…MY food plan consists of nothing most of us don’t already know—especially Kelly. Kelly’s Week 2
As I mentioned in our initial “welcome” blog for Kelly, she, like Cheryl, started with a diet plan first before I gave her her first resistance training schedule over a week ago. This blog below focuses on her new eating patterns based on my instructions. Given the holiday last week, I asked that she ‘take off’ –not from her newer lifestyle habits – from blogging. Welcome Kelly!
Although it was with excitement, mixed with sorrow, that I had to let Cheryl move on, it is with joy that I now introduce another “Take Control” campaign role model—welcome aboard Kelly! The special thing about being able to work with Kelly, even though we’re in a virtual relationship today, is that we attended high school together and, thanks to Facebook, I’m extremely grateful to have many of those fellow Wolverines in my world now. Final Blog of Cheryl’s Journey
This final blog finds me very sore but happy as can be; got my final plan from my fairy godmother in May. And, even only being 2 days into it, I could tell those last four weeks were going to be a challenge. It was quite a mix of different weight training exercises, coupled with interval cardio training. Also, I was given the task of coming up with another fitness challenge to do. I chose to attempt a triathlon 2 days after my 40th birthday the first week of June, which would also be the conclusion of this wonderful journey. Silly me!
